Manchester United back in form

Manchester United were looking to continue their winning spree as the hosted David Moyes' 
  Sunderland at home on Boxing day. United came in a fine form after beating West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns. As transfer window emerged, United manager Jose Mourinho confirmed that midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin has asked to leave the club and the manager will only accept the offer if its right and reasoanble. Also sources confirm that Swedish defender Lindelof was close to a £30 million transfer from Benfica.
Defneding duo Rojo and Jones started at the back, De Gea in goal, Valencia an Blind as fullbacks.
Wayne Rooney was ruled out with an injury and manager Jose Mourinho didn't want to risk him as they had a busy New Year schedule coming up ahead. Pogba Carrick and Herrera were in midfield, Mata and Lingard on the wing and Ibrahmovic upfront.
United started the game with the aim to get the 3 points in the bag, they took the lead thanks to Daley Blind's first goal of the season as he slotted it past Jordan Pickford's blind spot.
The second half so Sunderland with more chances but couldn't finish any of them. In the dying minutes of the game, an error by Jason Denayer given to Paul Pogba who passed it on to Ibrahimovic who sealed the 3 points for United and made it five wins in a row for the Red Devils.
Mkhitaryan was brought on for Mata and he already made his mark by scoring a wonderful backheel goal through Ibrahimovic's cross and it was done and dusted for them.
Fabio Borini scored a consolation for the Black Cats with a sublime volley which left De Gea standing. United remained on 6th place, 3 points behind Spurs and up next was another home game against Middlesborough this weekend. Can the winning form continue for the Red Devils.
