Manchester United vs Leicester City Match Review

After being win-less in the Premier League since their last gasp win at Hull. United were eager to win this match against the champions of England. Leicester, on the other hand, came in in good shape after an emphatic 3-0 win over Burnley with new boy Islam Slimani grabbing a brace on his Premier League debut. Though few days later they suffered a home 4-2 defeat to Chelsea. United won 3-1 away to Northampton thanks to goals from Carrick, Herrera and Rashford. United were looking to continue this form.
The lineups were announced as United made four changes to their side.
Starting XI De Gea Valencia Smalling Bailly Blind Herrera Pogba Mata Lingard Rashford and Ibrahimovic.

United started the game well as Chris Smalling scored his first of the season through a header, Daley Blind with the assist. Later Juan Mata made it 2-0 with a wonderful passing. Minutes later Marcus Rashford got on the scoresheet with a corner taken quickly by Blind to Mata who drilled it in to Rashford for an easy goal. But it wasnt over yet, another Daley Blind corner lead to a fourth with record signing Paul Pogba heading it in to make it 4-0 to United at half time. Noting that the last time United scored four in a match was in 2015 when they defeat Manchester City 4-2 at Old Trafford.
Leicester youngster Demarai Gray scored a consolation for them as the match ended 4-1 and Paul Pogba was named man of the match.
