Chelsea disappointment and Manchester Derby

Chelsea vs Manchester United

Jose Mourinho was eager to mark his return to Stamford Bridge with a win but Antonio Conte's side wasn't reluctant to lose. After a 3-0 win versus Leicester, Chelsea were to carry the form onto the next game.
The game was a disaster for Man United as Jose's return was overshadowed as Chelsea took the lead within 35 seconds thanks to Pedro who put the ball in the back of the net. Cheslea later doubled their lead due to an error at the back with Gary Cahill making the better of it from a Chelsea corner.
Manchester United's sorrow continued to worsen in the second half as Eden Hazard made it 3-0 for the Blues. Yet the misery wasn't over. N'Golo Kante bagged his first goal for Chelsea and made it 4-0. United with their biggest defeat this season and Jose Mourinho's biggest ever defeat since the El Classico. Up next for United was the Manchester derby in the EFL cup on Wednesday.

MANCHESTER DERBY

United faced City for the second time this season. This time it was in the EFL cup. Pep Guardiola's side was winless in 5 games in all competitions. City needed a win even with Pep's record versus Mourinho was quite impressive. But United weren't to give up easily. City relied on their youth in this match as Pablo Maffeo and Alex Garcia were giving a start by Pep. Mourinho named a strong line up with Ibrahimovic upfront and Pogba in midfield.
United started the game well, with having more possession. The game looked as if it were to go to extra time, but Mourinho's side weren't to give up easily, Ibrahimovic setting up Mata who scored the decisive goal as Man Utd won 1-0 over City and advanced to the Quarter finals of the cup.
United face West Ham who beat Chelsea 2-1 at home. Jose went home with a happy face, with an easy game up ahead, a home game against Burnley on Saturday.
