International Reds 

After a frustrating performance against Stoke City, United went into international break sitting on 6th in the Premier League table with 13 points. After the international break was a Monday night trip to Anfield where they face strong opposition Liverpool who have lost only one match since the start of the season.

International break

Many United players were called up on International duty including the likes of Jesse Lingard who was called up by Gareth Southgate, the interim manager of England. For Spain, keeper David de Gea and midfielder Ander Herrera were called up, De Gea featuring in Spain's games against Italy and Albania and keeping one clean. On the other hand Herrera remained an unused substitute in both of Spain's games. For France, French duo Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial were called up by French manager Didier Deschamps. Paul Pogba started in France's 4-1 win over Bulgaria whilst Anthony Martial remained an unused subsitute. France the take on Netherlands tonight for the 2018 World cup qualifiers. 

For England, captain Wayne Rooney, Chris Smalling, Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard were called up by Gareth Southgate. Jesse Lingard went on making his debut for England in their 2-0 win over Malta at Wembley. England take on Slovenia tomorrow in their World cup qualifiers.
For Netherlands, Daley Blind and Memphis Depay were called up by the Dutch manager. Daley Blind featured in Netherland's 4-1 over Belarus, the Dutch national team take on France tonight.

Moving to South America, Sergio Romero and Marcos Rojo were called up for World cup qualifiers by Argentina. Both the keeper and left back featured in Argentina's 2-2 draws against Venezuela and Peru respectively, Argentina face Paraguay tomorrow night.
