United back to winning ways in the Premier League


United vs Tottenham was the most anticipated match of this Premier League gameweek. United came in in good form after a 2-0 away win at Zorya with Mikhitaryan getting his first goal for the Red Devils.
Tottenham also were in good form after a crunching 5-0 win at home against relegation battlers Swansea.
Mikhitaryan started for United for the fourth game in a row, De Gea in goal Rojo and Jones at the back, Valencia and Darmian on the side, Pogba Carrick and Herrera in midfield, Martial and Mikhitaryan on the wing and as usual Zlatan Ibrahimovic upfront. Zlatan has 7 goals in his last 6 games in all competitions for the Red Devils, he looked to continue his scoring spree.
Tottenham weren't going to give up easily as inform Harry Kane was looking for the crucial 3 points that would keep Spurs in the title race.
United started of splendid as Herrera's through ball to Mikhitaryan, who was onside, smashed the ball past Hugo Lloris and gave United the 1-0 lead with his first Premier League goal. United managed to hold on till the first half and played beautiful attacking football in the second half. Unluckily, Mikhitaryan was stretchered off in the second half with an ankle injury, further examination on his injury to be done. Paul Pogba's freekick hit the crossbar in the second half. United managed to win the game 1-0 but remained at 6th place with 24 points, three behind Tottenham at 5th place.
